Medical technologies in telepathy: Potential cure for Myopia

Myopia, or short sightedness is a scourge to me. Having had this since about 10 years old, I have been unable to enjoy sports, whacked my head against walls in dark places and have generally been at the mercy of loosing my glasses ever since. According to this article ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6830491 ), myopia is a result of near work, and I also believe as a result of poor lighting. I also note that myopia was reported to be congenital.

Does one need to suffer this for life though. I think possibly not. This come from an observation I had when I one day went to an optometrist. I was asked perform a standard eye examination on a letter board (?). I recall looking at the board which was blurry and incomprehensible. The optometrist then looked at the board at the same time. My poor vision seemed to improve and I was able to see some of the alphabets on the board - and from my perspective.

This is my hypothesis of what happened.

The optometrist was able to induce the muscles that control focus in my eyes so that they were able to focus properly on the board. The perspective I saw was my own and not that of a superposition from that of the optometrist.

It occurs to me that if this is true, and I strongly believe this to be, than my myopia is caused by the lack of training my muscles and also my neurology has had since I have had to wear spectacles and since I got myopia (which was from reading in poor light and close work). It is possible that I can get my eyesight back with appropriate training of these muscles and probably the development of the neurology that controls these muscles (nerves, mind and brain etc).

I can conceive an experiment to test this hypothesis. Imagine three people. One (the subject) with myopia, two others with perfect eyesight. The ones with perfect eyesight will be used to develop the muscles and nerves on the myopia sufferer over a period of time, and using a letter board.
